To qualify for SSW Type (i), candidates must pass both a Japanese language test and an industry-specific skill evaluation test.

JFT-Basic

Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese — measures A2 level Japanese language ability required for SSW Type (i) visa.

Level Required: A2 (Conversational Basic)
Format: Online test, multiple choice
